More than 3 years back,
Xenia Ali, a pop artist from the valley of Kashmir, made her
debut with the album ‘Meri Ada’. The album was a decent
success as it had variety galore with songs ranging from
romantic ballads, dance numbers to being Arabic in flavor.
During all these years, she
was not seen much but now she is back with a remix album
that has been aptly titled ‘Xenia remix’. The opening track
of the album is a sadly-ignored-but-extremely-melodious
‘Samaa Yeh Suhaana’ from the film ‘Goonj’ which never got
its due. After ‘Bin Tere Sanam’, this is second such song
from the late 80s-early 90s that was lost over the years but
now has been revived in its remix avtar.
