Aamir Khan is a perfectionist
to the core. After the spectacular success of ‘Fanaa’ and
the raging Narmada controversy, Khan has gone into the
silent mode. He is seen now-nd-then at some event or the
other but he hasn’t been giving any interviews in his
characteristic style. It’s being said that he is heavily
into weight training right now and he is looking
younger-n-leaner. As
far as his film career goes, it seems a lot is cooking in
his oven right now. He is all set to green light Mani
Rathnam’s ‘Lajjo’ with Kareena Kapoor in December. Besides
that his production company Aamir Khan Productions is all
set to launch two films in collaboration with PVR Films
where AKP will be the main producers while PVR will be
Co-producers and Distributors. The entire creative control
will be with Aamir. The first of these films is about a
dyslexic kid and his interaction with the world. There were
reports about Aamir remaking the South super success
‘Gajhini’ but there hasn’t been much dope on that.
In the recent surveys and
polls, it seems Aamir has outwitted Shahrukh Khan in the
race for the No. 1 slot. He has had a great year with ‘Rang
De Basanti’ and ‘Fanaa’ striking gold at the Box Office. And
his public stand in favour of the rehabilitation of Narmada
Dam oustees has earned him millions of admirers the world
over. In other words… Aamir Khan Rocks. |
