John Abraham and Nagesh
Kukoonoor are coming together in Percept Picture Company’s
‘Aashayein’ (Co-Production with Nagesh’s SIC Productions)
which is all set to kick-start in March 2007. Now, that’s an
unusual combination and one that is going to be watched with
close scrutiny. Apparently Nagesh is impressed with
Abraham’s body of work including ‘Water’ and ‘Kabul
Express’. ‘Aashayein’
is the story of a man who wins a huge sum of money and
discovers he has ninety days to live. John is playing a
gambler in the film who finds out new meanings of fortune
and life through certain events in life. With an
unconventional storytelling style of Nagesh, I am sure it
must be one hell of a film. As of now, he awaits the release
of his next film ‘Dor’ starring Ayesha Takia, Gul Panag and
Shreyas Talpade. |
