Amitabh Bachchan signs ‘Johny
Walker’. No, it’s not an endorsement that he is doing for the
famous liquor brand. But, it’s the first film he has signed post
his illness. The film will be Co-produced by Percept Picture
Company and his own AB Corp. It is going to be directed by
Shoojit Sircar (He earlier directed the critically acclaimed ‘Yahaan’).
‘Johny Walker’ is a relationship
drama written by the in-house team at PPC and then shaped by the
writer of ‘Rang De Basanti’ Renzil D’silva. The film deals with
human relationships and apparently the climax is one of the
major highlights of the film. In fact, this is for the first
time that Big B has given his inputs in the script. If the
insiders are to be believed then Vidya Balan is going to be the
main lead. It seems Amitabh Bachchan will continue to experiment
and push the envelope in the years to come. |
